Crystal Club Subscription Terms
These terms explain Crystal Club, the MiniMinds subscription: what each plan costs and gives, and how renewing, changing plans, cancelling and refunds work. They are part of our Terms of Use, which apply to everything in MiniMinds. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle purchase data.
Only an adult, such as a parent or guardian, may subscribe. Before a purchase, the app asks a short question meant for adults.
1. What Crystal Club Is
Crystal Club is an auto-renewing subscription, sold in the MiniMinds app through the Apple App Store. Every plan adds a set number of crystals to your MiniMinds account each month, and you spend crystals on creations such as stories, songs and pictures.
- There are three plans, Explorer, Storyteller and Wizard. Each can be billed monthly or yearly, and a plan gives the same crystals every month either way.
- A yearly plan is billed once a year, but its crystals still arrive month by month: the first month's with the purchase, then one month's crystals every month for the rest of the paid year.
- There is no free trial and no introductory price. The first payment is the plan's full price.
- Unused crystals never expire. They carry over from month to month and stay in your account after a subscription ends.
- At the moment Crystal Club is sold only through the App Store, on iPhone and iPad.
2. Plans and Prices
These are the plans and their prices in the United States App Store:

Prices differ from country to country and are shown in your local currency, including any taxes that apply. The price shown in the app, and confirmed by Apple before you pay, is the price you are charged.
3. What Crystals Buy
What a creation costs is always shown before you create it. Stories are priced by length:

- Pictures and songs cost different amounts depending on the options you choose, such as the picture style or the length of the song.
- As a guide, one month's crystals pay for: Explorer about 16 short or 10 medium stories; Storyteller about 32 short or 20 medium stories; Wizard about 64 short or 40 medium stories.
- If something goes wrong while a creation is being made, its crystals are returned automatically.
- Crystals have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged for money or moved to another account. The full rules are in our Terms of Use.
- We may change what creations cost. The app always shows the current price before you create, and a change never takes away crystals already in your account.
4. Payment and Automatic Renewal
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, monthly or yearly, at the price then in effect, unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- Your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Each renewal adds that period's crystals: a month's crystals on a monthly plan, and on a yearly plan the first month's, followed by the rest month by month.
- If the App Store price of a plan goes up, Apple tells you in advance and, where required, asks for your agreement before the new price applies.
- Crystal Club is not shared through Family Sharing. Its crystals belong to the MiniMinds account that subscribed.
- Purchases are charged to the Apple Account signed in on the device. To stop children buying on their own, you can turn on Screen Time purchase restrictions, or Ask to Buy in Family Sharing, on their device.
5. Changing Your Plan
You can change your plan at any time, in the app or in your App Store settings.
- Moving to a bigger plan (Explorer to Storyteller or Wizard, or Storyteller to Wizard) starts at once. Apple refunds the unused part of your old plan, and we add the difference in crystals for the current month. For example, moving from Explorer to Storyteller adds 400 more crystals.
- Moving to a smaller plan, or between monthly and yearly billing of the same plan, starts on your next renewal date. Until then, your current plan carries on.
6. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not end the period you have already paid for.
- On iPhone or iPad, open Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions, choose MiniMinds and tap Cancel Subscription. Apple describes the other ways in Cancel a subscription from Apple.
- In the app, “Manage subscription” in the crystal shop opens the same App Store page.
- After you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. A yearly plan keeps adding its monthly crystals until then.
- Crystals you have already received stay in your account after the plan ends.
- Deleting your MiniMinds account does not cancel the subscription, and neither does deleting the app. Cancel it first; otherwise Apple keeps renewing it.
7. Refunds
Crystal Club is billed by Apple, so Apple decides on refunds under its own policy. We cannot refund App Store purchases ourselves.
- To ask for a refund, go to reportaproblem.apple.com.
- If Apple refunds a purchase, we take back the crystals it added from your current balance, but never below zero. The details are in our Terms of Use.
- Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live.
8. Premium Plans from Earlier Versions
If you have a MiniMinds Premium subscription from an earlier version of the app, bought through the App Store or Google Play, it carries on:
- It renews automatically, and it is cancelled and refunded through the store it was bought in, as described above.
- While it is active, it keeps adding crystals to your account.
- To cancel one bought on Google Play, open the Play Store, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, and choose MiniMinds.
We may update these subscription terms, for example when plans or prices change. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated.
