Privacy Policy

• We collect what MiniMinds needs to work: your sign-in details, what you create and add, basic information about your device, how you use the app, and your purchases.
• To make a creation, we send your choices, the text you typed and the photos you chose to the AI services that generate it.
• Purchases are made through Apple. We never see your card or payment details.
• The app shows no ads, we do not sell your data, and the app does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
• You can delete your account, with everything in it, from the app at any time.

• We do not ask children for personal information, and a child should not create an account of their own. If you believe a child has created one, write to us and we will delete it.
• Parents may choose to enter details about a child, such as a first name for a story's hero, an age range, or a photo for a picture. Enter only what you are comfortable with, and keep full names, schools and addresses out of creations you share.
• Nothing in the MiniMinds app is used to build advertising profiles.

Your account

• When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name, your email address and an account ID, and, from Google, your profile photo. With Sign in with Apple, the email address can be a private relay address that Apple forwards to you.
• The name on your account is shown with everything you make public.

What you create and add

• The choices you make and the text you type in the creation wizards, such as characters and their names, places, themes, an age range, the length, a voice and a picture style.
• Photos you choose from your library or take with the camera to make pictures and songs. The app asks for permission first and uses only the photos you pick.
• The stories, narration, songs and pictures made for you, and whether each one is shared.
• When you read a story aloud in your own voice, the recording stays on your device. It is not uploaded to us, and deleting the recording or the app removes it.
• Messages you send us with the app's feedback form, the email address you add to them, if any, and the app version and phone model they were sent from.
• Reports you make about creations, and the people you block.

How you use the app

• Views, plays and likes of creations, your reading progress, favourites and settings, and the badges, streaks and levels you earn.
• Which crystal shop and offer screens you are shown, and which version of a screen you see when we are testing a change.

Your device

• The device model, operating system and its version, the app version, your language and time zone, and an ID for your installation of the app, so we can tell your devices apart and fix problems.
• If you allow notifications, a push token and a notification subscription ID. While Live Activities are turned on, the token Apple gives us to update a creation's progress on your Lock Screen.
• We do not collect your precise location, your contacts, your device's name or its advertising identifier.

Purchases

What we and RevenueCat keep about your purchases is described under “Purchases and Crystal Club” below.

• To run MiniMinds: to sign you in, make and store your creations, show public creations in the app and on the website, and keep your crystals, progress and settings the same on all your devices.
• To send the notifications you allow, such as when a creation is ready, and the messages in your inbox.
• To handle purchases: to add the right crystals once for every purchase, fill yearly plans month by month, and take crystals back when Apple refunds a purchase.
• To keep MiniMinds safe: to act on reports, hide reported creations, respect blocks, filter what the AI services make, and stop misuse, such as opening extra accounts to collect welcome gifts.
• To answer your messages and fix problems.
• To understand, in total rather than person by person, which features, plans and offers are used, so we can improve MiniMinds.

• Google writes stories and song lyrics and composes songs with its Gemini models on Google Cloud, and reads stories aloud with Google Cloud Text-to-Speech.
• Leonardo.Ai draws story illustrations, the pictures made in the picture workshop and song covers, including from the photos you choose. It runs image models from several companies on its platform.
• OpenAI can draw a story illustration from its text description when Leonardo.Ai cannot. It receives no photos.
• We do not send these services your name, email address or account ID. Whatever you type into a creation, such as a child's name for a hero, is sent as part of it, so keep it to what you are happy to share.
• They process this data on our behalf, to make the creation you asked for. If we add or change a provider, we update this list first.

• Apple processes the payment. We never receive your card or bank details, and Apple does not give us your Apple Account's name or email for a purchase. How Apple handles your purchase is explained in Apple's Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat, Inc., based in the United States, processes subscription data for us as our service provider. The app and Apple send it your purchases together with your MiniMinds account ID, but not your name or email. RevenueCat keeps your subscription status and purchase history: the products you bought, their prices and currency, the store country, the dates of purchases, renewals, cancellations and refunds, the offer screens you were shown and any test version of a screen you saw. It passes these events on to our servers, which is how your crystals arrive. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• What we store, tied to your account: your crystal balance and a record of every crystal movement (gifts, purchases, spending and refunds); for each purchase, the store's transaction IDs, the product, its dates and whether it was a test purchase; for each subscription, the current period and how many monthly crystals it has added; and which version of an offer screen you were shown, if we were testing one. If a purchase arrives that we cannot yet match to an account, we keep it until it is settled.
• We use this to add the right crystals once for every purchase, fill yearly plans month by month, take crystals back on refunds, answer your questions about a purchase and understand which plans and offers work.
• If you ask Apple for a refund, Apple may ask us about the purchase, and we may tell Apple how it was used, such as whether its crystals were spent and how long you have had your account.
• We keep purchase data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account in the app (Profile > Delete account), we delete your crystal balance, the record of your crystal movements and your subscription records, and ask RevenueCat to delete its record of you.
• Two things stay after that, with no name, email or other details: the store's IDs of your past purchases, no longer linked to you, so the same purchase can never be credited again to another account; and a note that your account ID was deleted, so a renewal that arrives later cannot open a new balance for it.
• Apple keeps its own records of your purchases under its own policies. Deleting your MiniMinds account does not cancel a subscription, so cancel it in your App Store settings first.

• Public creations show your account name and can be seen by anyone, in the app (Stream and Discover) and on the miniminds.app website, together with how many times they have been viewed, played and liked.
• The photos you upload are not shown in Stream, Discover or on the website.
• A song made from a photo gets a cover drawn from that photo, and the cover is public with the song until you stop sharing it.
• You can stop sharing a creation from its own page, which takes it out of Stream, Discover and the website. To delete a single creation, write to us. Deleting your account deletes all of them.

• Google (Firebase and Google Cloud): sign-in with Google, our database and file storage, app updates, and the AI services above.
• Apple: Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases, and notifications and Live Activities on Apple devices.
• RevenueCat, Inc.: subscription status and purchase history, as described above.
• OneSignal, Inc.: sends notifications to your devices, using your account ID, your email address, push token and basic device details such as its type, language and time zone.
• Leonardo.Ai and OpenAI: the AI services described above.
• Hetzner Online GmbH: hosts the servers that run MiniMinds.
• Vercel Inc.: hosts the miniminds.app website.

• Your account, creations, progress and purchase data: for as long as your account exists.
• Feedback messages, reports and blocks: until you delete your account, or sooner once we no longer need them.
• Server logs, which can include your account ID and IP address: for a short time, to keep MiniMinds secure and fix problems.
• Voice recordings: only on your device, until you delete them or the app.
• When you delete your account, we delete its data, apart from the two purchase records described under “Purchases and Crystal Club”. A public creation can take a short while to disappear from the website's page cache. Counts on other people's creations, such as a like you gave, stay as numbers without any link to you.

• Delete your account at any time in the app: Profile > Delete account. This deletes your creations, uploaded photos, crystals, progress and devices, and then your sign-in.
• Decide what is shared: stop sharing a creation from its page, which takes it out of Stream, Discover and the website. Pictures are not shared unless you choose to share them.
• Turn notifications off in the app's settings or in your device settings, and turn off access to photos, the camera and the microphone in your device settings.
• Block people whose creations you do not want to see, and report anything that is not suitable.
• Depending on where you live, for example under Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) or the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you may have the right to know what data we hold about you and get a copy of it, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict some uses of it, and to complain to your data protection authority. • When you visit miniminds.app, our hosting provider processes your IP address and browser details to deliver the pages.
• Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights count page visits and measure how fast pages load, without cookies.
• On your first visit we ask whether we may use Google and TikTok cookies. Until you accept, Google Analytics and the Google Ads tag run without cookies and send Google only anonymous signals, and Google Tag Manager and the TikTok Pixel are not loaded at all. You can change your answer at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
• If you accept, Google Analytics shows us how the website is used, such as which pages are visited and where visitors come from.
• Google Tag Manager and the Google Ads tag measure how our own ads for MiniMinds perform, for example whether a visit came from an ad. They can set cookies and send Google information about your visit; Google explains how it uses it.
• The TikTok Pixel does the same for our ads on TikTok: it can set cookies and send TikTok information about your visit, such as the pages you view, so our ads can be measured and shown to people likely to be interested.
• If you use the account deletion form on the website, we use the email address you enter only to find and delete your account.
